Digital Co-ordinator

Independently owned and run, Alliance Wine are a passionate team who work with innovative, colourful and creative individuals who share our drive and enthusiasm for the wine world.  We import wine from all over the world from people who work with an innate sense of integrity and love for the land they farm. We are now looking to recruit for the new role of Digital Co-ordinator.

This role is focused on all digital activity within the business. This is a new role and a broad one working closely with all other members of the Marketing team as well as Buying and Sales, and needs to be executed to a high standard, as in many ways you are the voice of business.

Responsibilities extend across all digital matters, but not exclusively so, as the Marketing team work closely together and you will be expected to help out as required on other projects and support other members of the team from time to time throughout the year.

The main digital responsibilities are listed below and you would be expected to manage the content creation, the short & medium term planning and the ultimate execution of them all:

  • Social media platforms
  • Email campaigns
  • Website management
  • Online publications
  • Videos
  • Podcasts
  • Trade sales collateral 

The key skillsets for the successful candidate will be the ability to write matched with good knowledge of the digital world. Experience using such programs as Adobe Creative Cloud, Hootsuite and Campaign Monitor amongst others will be very desirable.

This is an exciting opportunity to put yourself at the heart of a growing business and take ownership of this pivotal role. You will need to be innovative with a desire to develop it through pro-activity and enthusiasm.  You must be a team player who can work with all other members of Marketing as well as the wider business, someone with a good eye for the right word and a passion for wine.

Salary: Commensurate to experience

Alliance Wine is a leading UK wine importer and distributor expanding due to solid growth in core sales channels over the last couple of years and is looking for the right sales people to grow the business further.

If you are dynamic, creative, hardworking with a love of wine & food, and are passionate about the business of wine, then one of these roles could be for you.

We are looking for:

  • Head of Corporate Sales - London
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in this sector
    • Proven track record of achieving targets
    • WSET Diploma or Level 3
    • London based


  • On Trade Sales - London  
    • Specialising in fine dining
    • Would consider a Master Sommelier looking to move to a sales role
    • Direct sales experience is not essential, but knowledge of London prestige accounts is essential
    • London based


  • On Trade Sales - London
    • Independent and regional group specialist
    • Minimum 3 years' experience of working in this sector
    • Proven track record of achieving targets
    • WSET Diploma or Level 3
    • Preferably London based
