Area Sales Manager
Once he had completed his Masters in Hospitality Management Pete
knew he was ready to see the world. With a lengthy CV of managing
restaurants and bars behind him he set of to New Zealand to pursue
his love of rugby and wine. Sadly his rugby did not quite meet the
antipodean standard (despite his 6"6 frame) however, his
hospitality know-how got him out of trouble. After two years
working and traveling across NZ he moved to Melbourne where he
continued his wine education working in some of the city's top
restaurants. It was there where he was offered work on a vineyard
in Victoria's Alpine Valley where he spent six months and his love
of wine continued.
Fast forward a few years and Pete found his way back home in
Edinburgh. From here, he continued his education with WSET level 3
and 4 and managed the restaurants Timberyard, Dakota and 83 Hanover
Street before finally finding the courage to swap the restaurant
for the wine supply trade.
When not fighting with excel spreadsheets, Pete can often be
found dabbling in yoga, attending Murrayfield with his old man,
eating out and trying to get his second serve over the net!
