Family owned and run winery in Huelva, in the deep south of Spain, on the Atlantic coast close to Portugal on one side and the Doñana national park on the other.

The winery, constructed in 1868 in Rociana del Condado, has a very classic Andalus feel to it with white walls, high ceilings and lots of space to work with. As a family they show commitment to their locality; they are passionate about their vineyards, mostly put down to the local variety; Zalema.

Having converted a substantial portion of their vineyards to organic viticulture they are aiming to have certified wines within the next years and this respect for the naturalness of their environment shows through in the way they produce two distinct fresh young white wines, both made of Zalema, the only difference being the soils they came from.

The first, Edalo, comes from soils nearer the sea, sandy, clay soils and measurably higher rainfall while the second, Viña Barredero comes from vineyards with some chalk, some iron and less water giving a finer, more mineral wine.

A family deeply committed to the their local environment and culture, they strive to explore and define "where they come from"
