La Granja Nuestra Señora de Remelluri is a
historic property which once belonged to the Monastery of Toloño.
In 1596, the estate was providing wine to the town council in
nearby Labastida, which is one of the earliest references to a
bodega in Spain.
The current estate was founded in 1971 by Jaime Rodriguez Salis
and Amaya Hernandorena, who pioneered the concept of a single
estate vineyard in Rioja.
The estate is now in the talented hands of son and master
Spanish winemaker of world renown, Telmo Rodriguez, who is
continuing in his parents pioneering footsteps. Not afraid of
challenging the status quo, Telmo believes in wines that speak
volumes from the terroir from which they hail.
Covering 154 hectares, of which 105 are planted with vines,
