Hailing from Galicia in the North West of
Spain, this family owned estate produces wines of exceptional
quality from unusual grape varietals such as Treixadura, Godello
Casal de Armán began restoring an 18th century country house in
1996 and acquired various plots of vineyards (many of which has
actually been in the family for four generations) in some of
the best growing sites in the area.
Today the González-Vázquez family farm about 20 hectares of
vineyards and their deep respect for the preservation of the land
remains integral to their farming philosophy.
Focussing on fruit driven, textural wines, the winery
has has racked up a string of awards in Spain and Europe for
being on the best performers in Ribeiro.
