Gary Eberle began his career in the wine
industry in 1973 heading up his family's Estrella River Winery
(currently 360 Degrees in Paso Robles). However, his pioneering
spirit didn't stop there and in 1980, he co-founded Paso Robles as
Named after its local oak trees, Paso Robles is one of the most
up and coming wine regions inCalifornia. The diversity of
micro-climates here allows a wide array of varieties to thrive.
In 1983, Gary (the original 'Rhône Ranger') followed up the
creation of the Paso Robles appellation, with the creation of his
eponymous winery, premiering Eberle's 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon.
The unique limestone soils of Paso Robles add structure and
intriguing minerality to the Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and
Zinfandel at Eberle Winery.
Eberle Winery has since risen to fame with wines that
deliver exceptional quality and that over deliver for the price
point. Eberle wines are consistently hailed in the press and it is
one of the most lauded wineries in both national and international
competitions with a list of awards as long as the finish on their
