Producer Profile

The first a drive for innovation that fuelled the first steps of the creation of this comparatively youthful D.O. in 1986. The second the deep seated respect the winery has for its surroundings, where it sits in the landscape of hills and slopes that look over the majestic course of the Duero River. Combining these strengths helps form a winery with vision, grounded in the present creating powerful fruit driven wines of style and class.

Hand harvested. Grapes are transported to the winery in 300kg picking bins.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with temperature control and cold maceration then 3 months in Barrel.

Oak Treatment

Time: 3 Months; Type: French Oak;

Tasting Note

A young, deep cherry red colour with vibrant bluish tones. Intense red and black fruit aromas combined with some spice, toast, a hint of smoke and notes of liquorice. Fine grained tannins and fresh acidity, the finish is long, sleek and voluminous.

Food Matching

A wine just perfect for summer cuisine, barbeque and for easy drinking.
