At Alliance Wine we are committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the accessibility of this site, please get in touch, as we are continually striving to improve the experience for all of our visitors.

Although we try to meet the standards set out by the W3C's guidelines on accessibility it is difficult to achieve the highest level of compliance 100% of the time. We aim to meet the AA standard as set out by the Website Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guideline. 

You can also improve the website's accessibility in the following ways.

Text size

You may use your browser settings to change the text size for all the websites that you visit. The technique for doing this is slightly different depending on the browser that you use:

  • Microsoft Edge: Select the 'Page' menu, then increase or decrease 'Zoom' as needed. Or select "Settings" and "Accessibility" for more options.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Select the "View" menu, then "Text Size", then select Increase, Decrease or Normal, or the "View" menu, then "Zoom", then one of the options
  • Chrome: Select the Customise and control icon in the top right, here you can select the zoom level. Alternatively you can use ctrl and plus or minus key to zoom in or out.
Advanced & OS-Level Accessibility
  • Operating System Accessibility: Check your operating system's (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) accessibility settings for options like grayscale, high contrast, or text-to-speech.
  • Browser Extensions: Visit your browser's web store (e.g., the Chrome Web Store) to find and add extensions that offer features such as dyslexia-friendly fonts or customised reading modes.
  • High Contrast: Some operating systems and browsers offer high contrast modes, which can improve readability for users with visual impairments.
  • Accessibility Features: Modern browsers and operating systems include built-in assistive features, such as spatial navigation and tools to manage site permissions for the camera, location, and microphone.
