Centelleo, Tempranillo, Syrah, Vino de España, Spain, 2023

Producer Profile
Inspired by Spain’s still largely untapped winemaking heritage, friends, colleagues and Masters of Wine Fergal Tynan and Giles Cooke set off on a journey to find the unsung heroes of Spanish wine – be they regions, growers or winemakers. Fergal’s interest in terroir and Giles’ instincts for flavour urged them on to find quality Spanish wines whose stories had yet to be told. The result is Vinos Más Buscados – a range of great-value wines from across the country that could rightfully be said to represent Spain’s hidden treasures.
Viticulture
Produced in a thoroughly modern style that is both fruit filled and balanced, this wine represents the spirit and sparkle of today's Spain. The pairing of Tempranillo and Syrah grapes, results in juicy bramble and cherry fruit with hints of spice.
Winemaking
By selecting low yielding vineyards and ripe fruit they create a wine suitable for any occasion. The vineyards are closely monitored so grapes are picked at their best and the state of the art winery is well equipped with the most modern winemaking machinery to create fantastic wines. Stainless steel tanks for fermentation, cold stabilisation and bottled to order to retain freshness and vibrancy.
