Guyot trained vines on clay/ loam soils in the region of Summonte (Avellino). Practice integrated vineyard management techniques with minimal intervention.
Only the healthiest of bunches are hand picked at optimum ripeness then destemmed and gently pressed so that only the juice is extracted. A controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel.
No oak treatment.
The nose is remiscent of ash and incense, roasted hazelnut, smoked, melon, peach and herbaceous on a mineral background. On the palate it is fresh, deep, enveloping and of great energy
