Camin Larredya, Jurançon Moëlleux, Les Grains des Copains, South West, France, 2022

Producer Profile
Jean Marc Grussaute is producing some of the most sought after Jurançons at his 11ha Camin Larredya.
The dry wines are precise, powerful, but fresh and perfectly balanced. The sweet wines also display the same liveliness and precision; the residual sweetness is always in harmony with the crisp, balancing acidity.
Viticulture
Jurançon Moelleux "Les Grains des Copains" is a refined and expressive sweet wine from the Pyrenean foothills. Made exclusively from late-harvest Petit Manseng grapes, the wine captures the variety’s natural intensity, vibrant acidity, and ability to retain freshness even at high sugar levels.
Tasting Note
The bouquet reveals a generous spectrum of aromas—mango, pineapple, ripe apricot, acacia honey, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is richly textured yet never heavy, with a vivacious acidity that balances its natural sweetness. The finish is long, elegant, and clean, offering lingering notes of candied citrus and orchard fruit.
Food Matching
This wine is a perfect companion to foie gras, creamy blue cheeses, or rich pâtés.
