Viticulture

Vineyards are planted on well-drained south facing slopes, composed of shallow, sandy loam over gravel, sand and flint deposits.

Winemaking

Grapes were harvested in October; gentle pressing to extract only the best quality juice, followed by temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel. After lees ageing in bottle the wine received a light dosage.

Tasting Note

A delicate peach colour, with aromas and palate full of nectarine and pomegranate, alongside softly spiced raspberry crumble. Beautifully balanced with refreshing acidity and fine bubbles.

Food Matching

A delicious wine, suitable for English high tea sandwiches, scones cream and jam. Pairs well also with summer berries and summer pudding.
