We are looking for an experienced salesperson to join our Scotland team to support accounts and develop business across the north. We are a small, friendly team keen to welcome someone who will bring with them the experience, energy, and vision to help us maximise our full potential in this unique region.
About you
Based in North Scotland – eg Aberdeen or Inverness – or within reach.
Firm, well-established connections to the area.
Experience of successfully selling to premium On-Trade as well as Independent Retail businesses with a broad network of contacts in the region and wider industry.
Track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets, increasing area business YOY through new conversions and customer growth, and retaining long-term key accounts through an effective approach to relationships and support.
Someone who loves wine, and truly understands the commercials of selling wine as well as the people side of things. Listens to the needs of their customers and devises creative solutions to propel growth for both parties. Always focused on relationships and fostering mutually successful partnerships but also thrives on the buzz of winning.
Drive, determination, imagination, and self-sufficiency. A person who can work independently, think strategically, and take full ownership to ensure their sales area delivers growth and success. Pursues the right sales and business opportunities, but also finds ways to continually elevate and enhance Alliance Wine’s profile and reputation within the premium sector.
A team player who is invested in making positive contributions to company culture, and able to work supportively with the sales team and other departments towards our shared goals.
Excellent wine knowledge (WSET Level 3 or higher).
Full UK driving license.
