Viticulture
Vines of around 70 years old situated on clay, limestone soil from the lower hill in Brézé as well as younger vines in Clos des Carmes and Clos Guichaux.
Winemaking
Only the highest quality grapes are placed into this cuvée with grapes first sorted in the vineyard. Pressed whole clusters, there is a natural yeast fermentation followed by a blocked malolactic conversion. The wine is then aged for 18-24 months on the lees in barrels (new and 1-2-years-old), blended and aged for an additional few months in steel tanks.
Tasting Note
An incredible white wine characterised by dried fruits, spice, mirabelle plum and citrus notes and fragrant white flowers.
