Domaine Bruno Colin, St-Aubin Blanc 1er Cru, Le Charmois, Burgundy, France, 2022

Producer Profile
Creating his first vintage in 2004 after the decision to separate the family domain in three ways, Bruno Colin cultivates the family’s vines in the Côte de Beaune’s most prestigious appellations.
He painstakingly cares for 8.55 hectares of surface under vine in the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint- Aubin, Santenay and Dezize-les-Maranges. His philosophy is "Each vinification is an interpretation of a vintage and a Terroir. All of our wines are vinified in the same way in order to reflect the differences between our parcels."
Viticulture
Le Charmois is one of the top climats in the St-Aubin appellation, positioned on east- and southeast-facing slopes between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, the vineyard benefits from limestone-rich soils and elevations between 250 and 350 meters, contributing to the wine's notable minerality and freshness.
Tasting Note
Luscious citrus notes and a well-polished structure. Smooth and persistent with floral notes such as lime blossom and crisp mouthwatering acidity. A slight saline edge on the finish.
