Les Chiens, Blanc, IGP Pays'doc, France, 2024

Producer Profile
These wines really are "The Dog's"....
A cracking red and white pair from the Roussillon, deep in southern France. A region much overlooked and brimming with promise and potential.
Viticulture
From some of the best vineyards in the Roussillon, this distincively French white wine is crafted from native varietals to the region, usually a blend of Colombard, Vermentino, Marsanne or Grenache Blanc. The soils are rich in clay and silt.
Winemaking
A traditional white wine fermentation follows a direct pressing and racking in stainless steel without carbonic maceration.
Tasting Note
Light yellow in colour with some green reflections. The nose is delicate, some citrus notes and white flowers. Dry and fresh on the palate with lemon and fresh mint and lovely sharp acidity on the finish.
Food Matching
This stands up well to rich paté, creamy sauces and white meats.
