Les Chiens, Rouge, IGP Pays d'Oc, France, 2024

Producer Profile
These wines really are ’The Dog’s…’
– a cracking red and white pair from deep in south-west France – a region much overlooked and brimming with potential. We have hunted far and wide to create these blends from local varieties growing on old vines; balanced and elegant, they are wonderfully evocative expressions of the region.
Viticulture
From some of the finest vineyards in the Roussillon, this delightful fruity red wine is created from a field blend of native varietals, usually comprising Carignan, Caladoc and Marselan or Grenache Noir. The soils are composed of clay and silt.
Winemaking
A traditional red wine fermentation in stainless steel without carbonic maceration.
