DOMAINE DU CLOS FRANTIN, France

Nestled in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Domaine du Clos Frantin is a charming 18th-century estate at the very heart of Burgundy’s prestigious Côte de Nuits—home to some of the world’s most coveted Pinot Noir vineyards. The estate spans 13.2 hectares, including 3.9 hectares of Premier and Grand Cru vines, grown on some of the region’s most exceptional terroirs.

Viticulture

Committed to sustainable and responsible viticulture, the domaine has fully embraced organic farming. Since 2012, all vineyards have been certified organic, and beginning with the 2018 vintage, every bottle proudly carries the official “organic wine” certification. Fertilisers and herbicides have been replaced with natural compost and traditional ploughing, while rigorous pruning and green harvesting help maintain low yields and exceptional grape quality.

Winemaking

In the cellar, modern technology complements time-honored techniques. The winery is designed to operate entirely by gravity, preserving the purity, freshness, and aromatic integrity of the fruit. From vineyard to bottle, every step is taken with respect for the land, the grape, and the heritage of great Burgundy.
