DOMAINE DU CLOS FRANTIN, France
The estate spans 13.2ha, including 3.9ha of Premier and Grand Cru vines, grown on some of the region’s most exceptional soils. Committed to sustainable and responsible viticulture, the domaine has fully embraced organic farming. Since 2012, all of its vineyards have been certified organic and, beginning with the 2018 vintage, every bottle proudly carries the official ‘organic wine’ certification. Fertilizers and herbicides have been replaced with natural compost and traditional ploughing, while rigorous pruning and green harvesting help maintain low yields and exceptional grape quality. In the cellar, modern technology complements time- honoured techniques: the winery is designed to operate entirely by gravity, preserving the purity, freshness and aromatic integrity of the fruit. From vineyard to bottle, every step is taken with respect for the land, the grape and the magnificent heritage of great Burgundies.
