Finca Viñoa

Finca Viñoa forms part of Bodega y Viñedos Pazo Casanova – Finca Viñoa, a Ribeiro project launched around the year 2000 by three local friends (an oenologist, a wine producer and a sommelier).

Their aim was to recover historic vineyards in the Avia valley and restore the prestige of classic Ribeiro wines through singular, high‑quality bottlings rooted in tradition and place.

Viticulture

The vineyards are located in the Ribeiro D.O., primarily in the Avia valley, an area with a long viticultural history and Atlantic influence. The estate emphasises traditional viticulture, close attention to vineyard work and a strong link to local heritage, drawing on historic sites associated with Pazo de Banga and the surrounding landscape.

Winemaking

Winemaking at Finca Viñoa focuses on slow, careful elaboration and quality control to express the character of Ribeiro. The range includes white and red wines, along with selected single‑site and late‑bottled wines, all positioned as expressive, terroir‑driven examples of the appellation.
