When people talk about the mercurial nature of the Bordeaux wine market they tend to be talking only about the very top wines rather than the majority of the production which offers much greater stability on pricing and certainly more affordable, more everyday drinking claret.

At Alliance, our portfolio focuses on those wines from Bordeaux that are relevant to the restaurateur and consumer alike.

Our Château Les Platanes has been a huge hit and demonstrates without doubt that Bordeaux can offer excellent quality and great value. This modern approach Claret from the Côtes de Bordeaux is one to try this year if you haven't already.

Also gaining in popularity are our wines from St Émilion, Château Ferrand is one of the few Châteaux to offer mature (minimum of 5 years) Grand Cru Bordeaux that is ready to drink yet capable of further cellaring. On the Left Bank, Château Lamothe Cissac, our Cru Bourgeois from the Haut-Médoc remains a favourite, from a gravely
plot adjacent to Pauillac these wines show a modern twist on the Haut-Médoc.

Our range is complimented by some carefully chosen Cru Classés which are bought on a parcel basis and will vary in availability throughout the year.
