Thoroughly contemporary in its approach, Bella Modella offers fine yet affordable still wines and Prosecco.

Their range features the Modella Prosecco, a vibrant and fruit-filled wine with a delightfully frothy character — the very epitome of modern Prosecco. Alongside it sits a collection of still wines, including Pinot Grigio, Pinot Grigio Rosé, Lucido–Pinot Grigio, and Primitivo — all offering outstanding value, fresh contemporary style, and elegant presentation.

Viticulture

Medium-textured soil, deep on a tufaceous limestone substrate. Mild and slightly rainy winters. Hot and dry summers but with good ventilation.

Winemaking

Manual grape harvest, soft pressing and fermentation with maceration for 8-10 days to obtain the right colour intensity. Use of selected yeasts and fermentation at controlled temperature below 28 ° C. Storage in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature below 20 ° C to protect the wine with nitrogen to avoid the oxidative effect of the air. Ageing in steel for at least 6 months before bottling. Stabilization and cold bottling by means of isobaric filler.

Tasting Note

This beautifully crafted, noble native wine of Puglia is a full and rounded red. Posessing a rich intensity of flavour, it is the model of a perfectly formed Primitivo.
