Elevate your portfolio with Domaine Guiberteau, where heritage meets excellence.

Viticulture

Spanning 17 hectares, 14.5 under vine, Domaine Guiberteau’s vineyards are perfectly balanced with 7.5 hectares of premium Chenin Blanc and 7 hectares of exceptional Cabernet Franc. Strategically located across the prestigious communes of Brézé, Montreuil-Bellay, Épieds, and Saint-Just-sur-Dive, the estate benefits from some of the Loire Valley’s most sought-after terroirs. The standout Brézé vineyard is celebrated for its superior quality, thanks to its unique tuffeau limestone soils. Renowned for excellent drainage and rich mineral content, these soils impart a signature flinty elegance and complexity to the wines — a true hallmark of Domaine Guiberteau’s distinguished portfolio.

Winemaking

In the winery, Domaine Guiberteau embraces a philosophy of minimal intervention to preserve the purity of the fruit and terroir. Techniques include whole-cluster pressing and fermentation using ambient yeasts, allowing the wine to develop naturally. Aging takes place in a carefully selected mix of stainless steel tanks, concrete vats, and oak barrels, with minimal use of new oak to highlight the authentic expression of the vineyard’s unique character.

Tasting Note

Incredible clarity & purity to the fruit, as well as an abundance of chalky minerality and orchard fruits on the palate, salinity and texture. Packed with citrus and quince, this is great to drink now, but it will certainly age well and become richer over the next 4 or 5 years. A lot of wine for a village Saumur.
