Viticulture

Domaine Vacheron’s L’Enclos, Vin de France stands out for several reasons. It is crafted from biodynamically farmed Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the estate’s prized silex (flint) soils, capturing the purest expression of the terroir. Unlike their Sancerre bottlings, L’Enclos is made without strict appellation rules, giving the winemakers greater freedom in the vineyard and cellar to showcase authenticity and character.

Winemaking

The wine typically undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged in old oak or neutral vessels, emphasizing minimal intervention and preserving freshness and minerality.
