Château Ka
Production properly began in 2005, marking the revival of the project, and today the estate is recognised for crafting both fresh whites and concentrated reds. Uniquely, it is one of the few Lebanese producers to make wines exclusively from its own vineyards, ensuring strong control over quality and style
Viticulture
The vineyard is located at around 1,000 metres altitude at the eastern end of the Bekaa Valley, where elevation provides cooler conditions that help preserve freshness and balance. The region is dry, so irrigation is carefully managed, while all harvesting is carried out by hand during the cooler morning hours to protect grape quality. This high‑altitude, low‑rainfall environment contributes to wines with concentration, aromatic clarity and natural acidity.
Winemaking
Winemaking at Château Ka is modern and technically precise, centred around temperature‑controlled stainless steel fermentation to retain fruit purity and consistency. Grapes are destemmed, gently pressed and fermented under controlled conditions, with some wines aged further in French oak to add structure and complexity. Lees ageing is also used for certain white wines, enhancing texture while maintaining freshness and balance.
