Sardinia, Italy

Mora & Memo

Mora & Memo is a family-run estate in south-eastern Sardinia, dedicated to indigenous varieties including Cannonau and Vermentino. Working with old vineyards and a minimal-intervention approach, the winery produces elegant, mineral wines that reflect the island’s terroir in a contemporary style. Led by mother-and-daughter team Elicia and Leya Telani, its labels celebrate Sardinia’s rich matriarchal heritage.

 

Sicily, Italy

Tornatore

Tornatore is one of Etna’s historic family estates, farming the volcano’s northern slopes since 1865. Spanning 100 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and hazelnut orchards, the estate combines tradition with innovation. Its wines reflect Etna’s volcanic soils, altitude and climate, delivering precision and character. Certified by VIVA and SOStain, Tornatore represents a sustainable and modern vision of winemaking on one of Italy’s most remarkable terroirs.

Rallo Azienda Agricola

Rallo Azienda Agricola is a historic family estate in western Sicily, with roots dating back to 1860. Working organically between Marsala and Trapani, it focuses on indigenous varieties including Grillo, Zibibbo, Catarratto, Nero d’Avola and Perricone. Early harvesting helps create bright, fresh wines that reflect the warmth, sea breezes and character of Sicily’s coastal terroir.

Baglio Gibellina

Named after the traditional Sicilian baglio courtyard, Baglio Gibellina produces wines from vineyards planted at 300 to 600 metres above sea level on clay and volcanic soils. The wines are ripe, expressive, and full-flavored, showcasing real depth. The estate embodies the energy and richness of Sicilian winemaking. As part of the Biscardo family holdings, it blends the warmth and character of Sicily with over a century of wine-making experience and expertise.

Santorini, Greece

Gavalas Winery

Gavalas Family Winery is one of Santorini’s oldest estates, based in the village of Megalochori. Today, fourth-generation winemaker George Gavalas and his son Vagelis craft wines that express the island’s unique volcanic terroir, working with indigenous varieties including Assyrtiko, Aidani, Mandilaria, Mavrotragano, Katsano and Voudomato. Tradition and modern winemaking come together in a historic winery at the heart of Santorini.
