Viticulture
The grapes are sourced from a selection of parcels in Montreuil-Bellay, Brézé, and Bizay, with vine ages ranging from 7 to 80 years. The soils are clay-limestone, and the vineyard practices are organic, focusing on sustainability and minimal intervention.
Winemaking
00% Cabernet Franc. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, followed by maturation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and fruit purity. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Tasting Note
A deep ruby hue and aromas of ripe red fruits, such as raspberry and cherry, complemented by subtle earthy and floral notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine tannins, vibrant acidity, and a mineral-driven finish.
Food Matching
Roast pork, grilled lamb, or goat cheese. Its vibrant acidity and fruitiness also pair well with charcuterie or mushroom-based dishes.
