Viticulture
The vineyard is situated on marl and limestone soils typical of Gevrey-Chambertin, benefiting from sustainable viticultural practices focused on low yields and optimal fruit maturity. Hand harvesting ensures careful selection of grapes to maintain purity.
Winemaking
Fermentation occurs with native yeasts in traditional open wooden vats, followed by ageing in French oak barrels for 12 to 15 months, with around 25–30% new oak to add subtle complexity. The wine is lightly fined and filtered prior to bottling.
Tasting Note
A beautiful core of ripe red cherry and raspberry aromas, layered with hints of forest floor and subtle spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with smooth tannins and a fresh, vibrant acidity that carries the wine through to a lingering, mineral-tinged finish. The wine is approachable now but promises further complexity with a few more years of cellaring.
